Caleb Followill was born in a family of United Pentecostal evangelist (father), who had to travel a lot because of his occupation. Caleb and his brothers, Nathan and Jared, spent most part of their life “on the wheels” and it annoyed the boys.
They found inspiration in music and started to write songs at a very early age. Caleb and his brothers played music too. They started to play church music and as Caleb says, he is influenced by gospels till now and some its elements are present in “Kings of Leon” music.
After many years of travelling, Followill family finally settled in Nashville. There three brothers, Caleb, Jared and Nathan together with their cousin Mathew formed their own band, named “Kings of Leon”.
The band is mostly known due to such hits as “Sex on Fire”, “Pyro”, “Notion” etc.
