Carlos Santana lived in Mexico and then his parents moved to San-Francisco. He was inspired to become a musician by his father. Jose Santana was a violin player. Everyone, who knew him, called him Mr. Charisma and small Carlos adored his dad, although very often he was away on business. Every time, when Jose went away, Carlos was afraid he wouldn’t be back. Charmed by his ideal father, Carlos wanted to be exactly like him, so he decided to become a musician too.
He formed the group “Santana Blues Band” and soon they released singles, which remain cult till now. They are “Black Magic Woman” and “Oye Como Va”.
In 1969 the band released the debut album “Santana”, which made them international stars.
Now Carlos Santana is not so popular already, but his children continue the main business in their father’s life.
