Bill Walton is a former outstanding basketball player, whose career was marked with numerous awards and achievements, including NBA Most Valuable Player title in 1978.
Having retired from professional sport, he devoted his life to work on television and now Walton is known as talented sport commentator. Now it is hard to believe that Walton, a well known celebrity, had stutter and was a very shy kid.

Bill Walton was an awkward child, but he had a strong calling to sports. He was a successful basketball player at a high school, but his talent started to flourish, when he entered the University of California and became the honorable member of the University basketball team.
In 1974 he graduated from college and although his last season in the educational institution was not successful, still he was chosen by Portland Trail Blazers.
Thus he started his career professionally, which achieved its peak in 1978, when he had become NBA MVP.
Because of injury Walton had to quit career of an athlete and continued serving as TV personality.
