Billy Idol was born in a family of naval airman and a nurse. He got interested in music from his earliest age, played the guitar and listened to Elvis Presley.
His parents supported Billy’s passion at first. But when they noticed that the boy spent most part of his time, playing music, following his favorite rock bands together with the other fans and flirting with the girls, they tried to forbid Billy to make music, but couldn’t stop him.
Billy Idol got his first recognition, when he formed the band Generation X together with his like-minded person Tony James.
Later Billy Idol pursued his solo career.
