Gavin McGregor Rossdale is an actor and British musician known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush. He helped form the British rock band in 1992 and upon its 2002 separation, Gavin became the lead singer and guitarist for another band called Institute before he eventually began his solo career.

Despite their high profiles on worldwide stages, Gavin said in a 2005 radio interview that he and Stefani made efforts to keep their personal relationship out of the spotlight. They were together for 20 years (married for 13) before announcing their split in August 2015. This was shortly after the three-year infidelity scandal Rossdale had with their nanny at the time, Mindy Mann. Rossdale confessed to his adultery after being confronted by his wife and that was the moment when Stefani knew it was over between them. About a year after, their divorce was finalized with Stefani going away with more than half of their property (Rossdale had agreed to the unequal split). The judge of The Voice UK still regards Gwen as his muse and even adds that he will “always love” her even as they are no longer together. The Bullet Proof Skin singer admits that although many good things came out of their relationship, there are also a lot he would have done differently looking back. The split was also difficult for the beautiful Stefani as she also wrote the song Used To Love You about her ex-lover, Rossdale.
While both exes mutually decided not to be together, they agreed to remain partners in parenthood and till date are committed to raising their sons in a happy and healthy environment. In 2004, a paternity test revealed that Rossdale was the father of Pearl’s daughter, Daisy. He had been in a very brief relationship with Pearl and was even Daisy’s godfather. Rossdale has subsequently said that with the Confine (2013) actress, he just has to be respectful as their relationship is more of a friendship than a father-to-daughter relationship. When he was going through his divorce, Daisy was very perceptive and smart and she was a great support all through the days when he was vulnerable.
