Norman Mark Reedus is best known for his role as gruff archer Daryl Dixon on the popular AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead. Unlike most characters in the series, Dixon does not appear in the original graphic novels for the show meaning he was not part of the original cast. Reedus’ role was added to the series because he begged the show creator Frank Darabont for it.
