He is the first child out of three from Barbara Gary and according to him; their famous brother got more and more out of touch as he shot to fame in the late ‘90s. Earl was obviously mad at his golf swinging brother and revealed how snobbish the star is. The journey of the Elin-Tiger love story started long before she even met the star in person. Nordegren was working in a clothes store when she met Mia Pavernik, the wife of Swedish pro golfer Jasper Parvenik. She then met with Woods in 2001 through the fellow golfer Pavernik after moving to the states for her new au pair job. While the Swedish native was dating the black golf icon, she cared out a successful career for herself as a model and they eventually were married in 2004.
It was revealed in 2009 that Tiger was a serial cheater and that marked the end of his marriage. According to the news, he had engaged in multiple extramarital affairs with at least 120 women and this news did nothing but shatter the marriage he had built with Nordegren. The Swedish model might have been heartbroken but she got a sizable amount in divorce settlement that would settle her for life in the financial department.
After years of silence and therapy, Elin has now learned to have a civil relationship with the golfer and eventually become friends again for the sake of their kids. Sam was born in 2007 less than 24 hours after her father finished as runner-up in the US Open that year. The star athlete mentioned that he asked his dad why he was always called that name and Earl’s reply was that his son looked more like a Sam than as a Tiger.
